Bowmore Small Batch is an elegant Islay single malt matured in both first-fill and second-fill bourbon barrels. A great introduction to Bowmore's lovely smoky flavour profile - the Small Batch is refined, light, and well-balanced with plenty of honey, coconut, and vanilla notes.

Amazing smoky flavor with nice smooth finish in your mouth. Amazing whisky if you can get under 30£ or 50$. Can be a weekday whisky or enjoyed with friends, they will love it.
First Bowmore offering I have tasted. I am New to Scotch Whisky, coming from the Craft Beer World, thru Bourbon. The Nose is Viscous and pleasantly Sweet. The Palate has a Slight Pleasant burn on the tongue and pleasantly Viscous and full as well. Lightly Smokey in the Finish with pleasant viscosity remaining. Not my first Islay Whisky, but it is an excellent expression of the Islay Style of Whisky, in my opinion, with a pleasant Smokey Viscous Dry Finish in the mouth. Excellent Value at the Price. Highly recommended!! Excellent Introduction to the Peaty Islay Style
Just bought a bottle for £25 in my local supermarket and I think it is an excellent introduction to the distillery. I'll now be seeking out other offerings from them.
Lightly peated and surprisingly little oak; smooth although with a touch of fire in mix, altogether very enjoyable without being special. Shame about the very short finish. This is to my mind a very good £30+ all rounder that should please anyone. I'm encouraged by this one & might seek out an older Bowmore next time
Actually, pretty good whisky. Best to ignore the pretentious 'easy sipping dram' twaddle & Bowmore's meaningless marketing-speak. This achieves the holy grail of being: VERY reasonably priced, softly smoky, almost smooth but retaining some fire and widely available. A modern commercial branded whisky that has been cleverly designed. My only gripe is it has a tad too much youth (oh and the usual complaint regarding caramel / filtering) Not sure I would bother buying again
