Description

A splendidly smoky addition to Lady of the Glen's Samhain Series, this nine-year-old Bowmore was distilled on Islay in 2017 and bottled in 2026. Its entire maturation took place in a single first-fill barrel (#56) with just 268 bottles drawn at a hearty 57% ABV, each sporting artwork by Edinburgh-based artist Steven Shand.

Nose

Salted lemon peel, vanilla fudge and honeyed malt, with coastal peat smoke, toasted oak and a little seaweed.

Palate

Sweet barley, vanilla custard and charred citrus, joined by salted caramel, cracked black pepper and sooty bonfire smoke.

Finish

Peat embers and sea salt, with warming oak spice, lemon zest and a final touch of vanilla sweetness.
