Well-aged whisky from the Bowmore Distillery - music to our ears! This is an Infrequent Flyers bottling of single malt from Bowmore, distilled in 1997 and matured for 23 years. It was finished in a virgin oak cask, and bottled up with an outturn of only 204 bottles by Alistair Walker.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Coastal peat with a hint of floral air mixed in there, supported by burnt toast (buttered) and grilled peach.
Palate
Salted lemon, croissants dipped in apricot jam, barrel char and black pepper.
Finish
Lingering sea breeze.
