Bowmore 21 Year Old Sherry Oak
Bowmore 21 Year Old Sherry Oak was matured in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, with a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry cask finish. At the peak of the Sherry Oak series, this impressive single malt boasts an intense, multi-layered character with a harmony of sherry and smoke. Bowmore recommends pairing with Bare Bones Chocolate Cremeux, cherry, pecan and hazelnut.

Nose
Tobacco leaves, heather, iodine, warming ginger, tanned leather, rich toffee/treacle, beeswax.
Palate
Sweet toffee, vanilla, rich treacle, oranges, sweet cinnamon, nutmeg, and barbecued meat notes complimented by red berries, stewed rhubarb and a whisper of salty smokiness.
Finish
Pleasingly long and spicy. Rounded, sweet woods and gentle smoke linger on the tongue as a lasting memory.
