    Single Malt

Bowmore 21 Year Old 1995 - Single Cask (Master of Malt)

A 21-year-old single malt from the brilliant Bowmore distillery, bottled by our own fair hands. This was distilled back in February 1995 and slumbered in a bourbon hogshead until we bottled it up in December 2016 at cask strength without any chill-filtration or additional colours (just like the rest of our Single Cask Series). Dig into some stunning Islay single malt. Go on.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Rich and old book-ish, with treacle, cooked raspberries, pineapple, barbecued dates, pine needles on the forest floor, menthol, and the smoke of a bonfire the following morning.

    Palate

Full-bodied with more of those rich cooked tropical fruits, plus toasted pineapple and fig. The smoke becomes much more earthy on the palate, and there's also a floral quality, plus loads of sweet cinnamon tempered with cumin. A good dose of oak influence gives a woody and vanilla pod-influence, too.

    Finish

Spicy, drying and long. The earthy bonfire smoke swooshes through at the end.

    Overall

A delicious dram – like the great outdoors in a bottle.
