Bowmore 15 Year Old Laimrig - Fèis Ìle 2011
Made especially for Fèis Ìle 2011, this Bowmore single malt was aged for 15 years and finished in a sherry cask before bottling at natural cask strength. A release of just 500 bottles. Rare stuff!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sweet and sticky with notes of sherried peels, dates and walnuts. A little toffee, cocoa and smoke, with hints of salty butter and rye spices.
Palate
Big and rich with notes of cocoa, spices and smoke. Quite sooty and intense, with some chocolate-covered raisins and toffee apple.
Finish
Good length with notes of plums and dates.
