A brilliant batch of straight rye whiskey from Boondocks, created by former Woodford Reserve master distiller Dave Scheurich. A top find for fans of Kentucky rye, and bottled up at 50% ABV, it'll shine in a Manhattan.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Runny caramel, toasted vanilla, a touch of vegetal oak, and a smidge of menthol.

Palate

Bold oak char, creamy butterscotch, and fruit muffins lead to more savoury, grainy spice.

Finish

Peppery spice lingers, joined by burnt toffee and toasted oak.

Spectacular

A rich, full bodied, rounded yet spicy rye whisky. That extra heat makes it spectacular in cocktails, yet it still remains very sippable on its own. A must have for anyone who loves to drink Manhattan or Boulevadier cocktails. Nothing comes close at this price point.
