Description

Elegant, sweet, and spicy – that was the brief for this batch of The Whistler Irish whiskey, finished in oloroso sherry casks! This blend of triple-distilled Irish malt and grain whiskeys began its maturation in bourbon casks, bringing oaken vanilla sweetness and spice, then finished in oloroso casks for rich, fruity depth.

Nose

Zesty notes of lemon and raspberry join white grapes, earthy nuts, and floral nougat.

Palate

More nougat here, with toasted almonds and sun-dried orange wheels, banana loaf, and toasted coconut.

Finish

Hints of pear, sweet spice, a touch of ginger, and peppery oak.
