Blood Oath Bourbon - Pact No.4
The fourth release in the Blood Oath series! These intense, flavoursome expressions are always exciting and much anticipated by bourbon boffins. For Pact No.4, the team have built the whiskey around three well-aged bourbons, one of which enjoyed a finishing period in toasted bourbon barrels, imparting a subtly spicy and smoky richness to the mix.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Roasted coffee beans and dark chocolate, with lighter hints of apricot and toffee.
Palate
Loads of earthy vanilla and cinnamon, supported by flaky almond pastries, walnut, orange liqueur and charred oak warmth.
Finish
Rye intensity on the finish, juxtaposed by candied peels and chocolate brownies.
