Description

The fourth instalment of Blind Summit’s Lochend Blend brings together six single malts, with Glen Moray providing the foundation and contributions from Glenrothes, Highland Park and Tomintoul. Married in first-fill oloroso sherry, the blend delivers baked apples, toasted hazelnuts and milk chocolate, with a fresh herbal lift.

Nose

Baked apples, plump stone fruit and toasted hazelnuts, with milk chocolate and fresh herbs.

Palate

Toffee apples, chocolate buttons and apple pie, supported by gently charred oak.

Finish

Rounded and juicy, with more apple and a gently warming peppery finish.
