Blanton's Straight From The Barrel - Barrel 88
If you haven't tried the bourbon from the Blanton's range, we highly recommend you correct that mistake – and here's a perfect chance to do it. Another cracking release from their Straight From The Barrel series, bottled at 64.7% ABV without chill-filtration or additional colours.
Please Note: Unfortunately, the gold wax atop these Straight From The Barrel bottlings is currently prone to cracking. We're informed that this should be a short term problem, but please be aware when purchasing this tasty bourbon. (Don't worry, the delicious liquid inside won't be affected!)
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toasted oak and flamed orange peel, followed by hearty helpings of red chilli and cinnamon.
Palate
More charred oak on the palate, balanced by toffee popcorn, banana chips and allspice. Oily at points.
Finish
Long and well-spiced.
