A superb single barrel bourbon. Blanton's Gold is distilled from a mashbill of corn, rye and malted barley. Each bottle is hand filled, sealed, labelled and individually numbered.
Please Note: Unfortunately, the wax atop these Blanton's bottlings is currently prone to cracking. We're informed that this should be a short term problem, but please be aware when purchasing this tasty bourbon. (Don't worry, the delicious liquid inside won't be affected!)
Oaky, dry. Plenty of fruit, mostly dried. Chewy peels, floral. Spicy.
Complex, enjoyable top notes, chewy oak. Dark stone fruits, deep spices, peppy and rich.
Long, toffee, drying.

A seriously good bourbon. From the enticing nose, to a big mouth feel arrival and explosion onto the palate. Long lasting development and finish. No harsh bite, or acetone effects - just an amazing vanilla orange citral bomb that packs a punch without being overbearing. The price isn't cheap but you definitely get what you pay for with this one.

This Bourbon is in my top 5 list of must have. Great stuff, its a shame that it's not sold in the USA. I will continue to buy this bourbon and have it shipped to my door step in America!!!
