Description
This is said to be the last batch of the Ghost Piper of Clanyard Bay myth whiskies from Fable, in which Blair Athol represents Chapter 6: Crows. It's been a great series and we can't wait to see which myth they pick next, but we've got a tasty single malt to enjoy first. It's a 2014 vintage Blair Athol matured in a single hogshead cask which yielded 200 bottles, all presented without colouring or chill filtration at a cask strength of 55.9% ABV by Fable in 2023.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Rich and well-spiced with nutmeg and thick jammy fruity notes.
Palate
Chocolate-covered almonds, liquorice fudge, baking spice, and more dark fruits.
Finish
A little herbaceous with stewed plums and cinnamon too.
