Blair Athol - Skene Whisky
Here's a sherried single malt from the Blair Athol Distillery up in Scotland's Highland region. It was matured in Oloroso casks before being independently bottled up by Skene Whisky at 48% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Millionaire's shortbread, Raisin Bran cereal, gristy barley.
Palate
Strawberry laces, spicy cinnamon and ginger, malt loaf with salted butter.
Finish
Stewed berries and a touch of ground coffee.
