Nose: Yeasty bread, cookie dough, lemon/lime candies, sawdust, and floral layers of barley. Some anise too - perhaps a hint of fennel.
Palate: Honeyed porridge, creamy, with warming spice in the distance. Malted Milk biscuits, rice pudding, with mellow, savoury oak developing in time.
Finish: Almond butter, pancake batter with gristy malt and nutty florentines, with green peppercorns creeping at the edges.
