A wonderful addition to the Xtra Old Particular range by Douglas Laing – a stunning 25 year old single cask single malt from the Blair Athol Distillery! It was distilled back in September 1995 and rested in a sherry cask until bottling in December 2020. There was an outturn of 276 bottles drawn from this cask.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Plenty of oak char, with spicy hints of cardamom and cinnamon.

Palate

Sweet golden syrup and cereal, green apples, wafts of melon and banana with gentle earthy grist.

Finish

Floral honey, lingering creamy grain and aromatic spice.
