Brilliant Highland single malt from Blair Athol, bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd for its 2022 Winter Release. This Scotch whisky was distilled in 2012 and matured in hogsheads before it was bottled in 2022, without added colour or chill filtration. A lucky outturn of 777 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fruit and spice, with poached apples and pears, fresh plums, and some creamy grain.
Palate
Warm cinnamon and pepper alongside more orchard fruits, and crumbly shortbread.
Finish
Warm oak and some toasted hazelnut.
