Description

Highland single malt from Blair Athol, distilled in April 2009 and matured for 13 years in a refill hogshead. The cask was cracked open by Hunter Laing in 2022, releasing a total of 330 bottles for the Old Malt Cask collection.

Nose

Crisp apples and pears, with sweet notes of crème brûlée in tow.

Palate

Honeyed melon, peach, and runny toffee are joined by biscuity malt and toasted spice.

Finish

Candied nuts and caramel linger, with soft fruits and baking spice.
