This indie Blair Athol was bottled up by James Eadie! Distilled in 2009, it spent its decade of maturation in a single re-charred hogshead, until it was bottled at a generous 56.2% ABV. A rather citrusy affair, this one...

Nose

Boiled lemon sweeties balance bitter lemon pith, with Turkish delight and cardamom spice alongside candied white florals.

Palate

Lychee leads into citrus curd, with cherry blossom and caramel-forward oak char.

Finish

Orange marmalade alongside ripe pear and pineapple.
