This Blair Athol single malt was matured for 14 years in a single hogshead before it was snapped up by Wemyss Malts, independently releasing a total of 277 bottles at cask strength, a hefty 56.6%.
Pink grapefruit provides a bright citrus backdrop from which sugared cereal, a touch of vanilla, and chocolate Brazil nuts emerge.
Mellow golden syrup, yellow fruit, and nutty spice.
Rich warming spice remains.
