Bladnoch Talia 26 Year Old - Red Wine Cask Matured
For the 2020 release of its awesome Talia expression, Bladnoch decided to mature the single malt in American oak red wine casks! Whereas the other expressions in have showcased cask finishes, this one spent its entire 26 years of ageing in red wine casks. There's heaps of red berries to be found in this one, with a delicate floral balance to it too.
This bottle was part of a private collection and may show signs of wear if of a certain vintage - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Mature oak, rich berries with a slightly creamy, floral background.
Palate
Polished oak with dark red berries, liquorice sticks and hints of nutmeg.
Finish
Long, with slightly dryness from aged oak and leather.
