It's a 28 year old Bladnoch single malt here, matured in a refill American oak hogshead cask from 1990 to 2019. Following maturation, it was bottled up at cask strength by Gordon & MacPhail as part of the Connoisseurs Choice range, with a tiny outturn of only 90 bottles.
Vanilla and sweet lemon lead to fragrant honeysuckle and freshly cut grass. Rich apricot flavours are complemented by tart citrus zest, giving way to desiccated coconut. A medium finish with a lingering sweetness.
