Bladnoch 1991 (bottled 2007) - Connoisseurs Choice (Gordon & MacPhail) (35cl)
A half bottling of the 1991 Gordon and MacPhail-bottled Bladnoch. This was bottled as part of the Connoisseur's Choice range and was matured in refill bourbon casks.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
The nose is aromatic and herbaceous. Cereal notes develop with malty sweet barley and something hay-like. There is a spiciness and notes of dry wood. The palate is sweet and of medium body, more spice with a floral edge and soft oak, quite light, all in all. The finish is soft and smooth and little fanfares of oak and gentle apple blossom weave in and out.
