It is the best whiskey I have ever drank. Very mild easy drinking , affordable. I met a Black Velvet girl years ago and had several different drinks and loved it, have been drinking it ever since 25+ years, I don't believe will ever go back to Jim Beam or Jack Daniels, both being much sour tasting tasting. For the price it is easy to experiment with, but very excellent Whiskey.
Good whisky for mixers and cocktails, would not buy to enjoy neat. Quite strong hand sanitizer vibes on the nose but quite oily and raw and a bit harsh on the palette. would not recommend for sipping but good price for mixers/cocktails.

Very smooth whiskey, I am not a whiskey drinker, but this is my favorite ,great mixer, not to harsh. Even if it was more expensive, I would still buy it.....
