Description

From the far reaches of Arctic Norway comes the 2026 edition of Bivrost Yggdrasil, produced at Aurora Spirit Distillery beneath the Lyngen Alps. Named after the mighty tree connecting the Nine Worlds of Norse mythology, Yggdrasil is set to become an annual series of limited releases. This edition brings together whiskies aged between four and six years in a combination of oloroso sherry-seasoned casks and barrels charred in-house. It's presented at 46% ABV, with 14,000 individually numbered bottles released worldwide.

Nose

Dried figs, orange blossom and sultanas, with toasted oak, bonfire embers and a little earthy nuttiness.

Palate

Caramelised mandarin, hazelnuts and sticky dates, backed by vanilla, warming oak spice and delicate smoke.

Finish

Toasted nuts, with charred oak, orange peel and a gentle waft of smoke.
