Nose

Sea salt, black fruit, dark chocolate, candied orange peel, and ashy smoke.

Palate

Stewed plums, smoked spices, cinder toffee, Christmas cake, and oak char.

Finish

Sweet and sherried and a little tarry.

Fantastic sherried smokey islay

For the price not sure how you can beat this one. Nice blend of sweet and smokey peat. Very well balanced. Better than the Sherry Storm #2. One of the better NAS whiskies to my pallette.

It's SMOKING

Nose: Sea salt, dark fruit, bitter dark chocolate, candied orange peel, and bonfire smokiness. Palate: Dried dates, cinder toffee, Christmas fruitcake, lush oak smoke. Finish: Surprisingly sweet, sherried and a touch of tar but does not linger too long therefore wanting more. Very surprised at this new addition to the stash and at a great price. Recommended to all phenolic lovers
