Berry Bros. Speyside Res

Love Speyside single malts? Then you NEED to check out this Speyside blended malt from historical London booze purveyor, Berry Bros. & Rudd. Part of The Classic Range, launched in early 2018, this whisky aims to capture the character of the Speyside region in a characterful yet easygoing dram. We reckon those BBR folks have hit the brief spectacularly.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Oodles of tropical fruit, honey, a gentle oakiness and fresh orange peels.

Palate Creamier than you'd expect, with more orchard fruits coming through, plus golden syrup, caramel and soft spices.

Finish Medium length with even more of those apple-y orchard fruits.

Overall Tasty stuff indeed from BBR.

Reviews for Berry Bros. & Rudd Blended Malt - Speyside Reserve
Easy drinking Scotch
A good, gentle mellow whisky. Touch of honey and I think I can taste the apple spotted by another reviewer. Best with a splash of water. Particularly good value when on special offer. It may not be the most complex or in your face of whiskies but well worth having in your drinks cabinet

very decent this
Pale colour, lots of honey, some caramel, oak etc. Quite fruity with apples and kiwi for me. Lovely mouthfeel too.
Splash of O2 produces more cream and apple. Sweetens slightly too.
For £28 it's very nicely balanced. Slight roughness of course but well worth money.
