Description

Distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2016, this peated Benromach (67ppm) was matured in first fill bourbon barrels and was bottled at 46% abv. Sounds pretty good already, right?

If you like smokey whisky without medinical or meaty notes this is the one. Complex whisky with camp fire smoke with fruity sweetness and a oily mouth feel. The finish is smokey sweet with a bit of spice, job well done.
