Benromach welcomes a new addition to its Cask Strength Vintage series here with the first batch of 2012 vintage single malt! Matured in first-fill casks until 2022, the whisky was bottled up at a hearty cask strength 60.2% ABV, so a dash of water won't hurt when exploring its divine layers of zesty sherried fruit, rich chocolate, and delicate smoke. A tremendously satisfying sipper – the brilliance of Benromach strikes again!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Butterscotch, chocolate raisins, and nutty malt, with candied orange peels nestling beside a whiff of sweet peat smoke.

Palate Tangy red fruits and poached pear welcome the way for layers of warming cinnamon while prickles of peppercorns and warming woody spice build.

Finish A touch of smoke arrives towards the end, cushioned by rich milk chocolate and stewed forest fruits.
