Batch number two is the 2022 release of this stunning Speyside single malt from Benromach, matured for no less than four decades. Benromach 40 Year Old is a limited release of 1,098 bottles, with this whisky maturing in sherry casks, bringing notes of candied citrus and winter spices.
Aromas of ripe red apple and fragrant clove emerge with notes of tangerine peel and subtle beeswax polish. The palate reveals orange oil, spicy black pepper and raspberry compote, with a long finish of festive spices.
