Benromach 35 Year Old
Benromach was mothballed in 1983 and, despite being purchased a decade later by Gordon & MacPhail, wasn't up and running again until 1998. This release predates the 18-year gap in production, with nods in the packaging to the original dark-grained wooden washbacks as well as the stills and lime-washed distillery walls.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Creamy vanilla, ethereal oak, kiwi, orange juice, peach and honeycomb.
Palate
Red apples and figs in pastry, a little cocoa and macadamia. Syrupy, fragrant and fruity.
Finish
Oak, cinnamon, anise and vanilla.
Overall
A delicious piece of whisky history.
