Benromach Sassicaia Wood Finish Reviews

Not up to standard

Not my kind of whisky - Im afraid

Delightfully Busy

I concur with the above. We picked up this little gem after a tasting and it is one of my favorite bottles. So many notes to really let a beginner develop tastes and senses.

A snip at this price.

This is a lovely whisky. It just does the lot. On the nose it is not challenging but encouraging, you can get all the elements clearly. To taste, it has light speyside sweetness with fruit, with tinges of vanilla, salt and malt (and loads more subtle - but my palate begins to fade - honey , spice?). The two guys who produce this stuff either need special award wands or medals. I think it is really special.
