A lightly peated Benromach from the Origins line. This is the second batch in the range and it is was peated to 4ppm before a full maturation in port pipes.
Treacle, butterscotch, hints of vanilla fudge, plum jam, burnt sugar on apple crumble with hints of custard and faint wasps of smoke.
A rich, sweet palate offering up notes of gooey toffee, manuka honey, red berries, a light smoke, almond and even a hint of cigar leaf.
Good length with cocoa, vanilla milkshake and more of those faint wasps of smoke.
