Description

This is part of a release of three special single cask bottlings which commemorate the association of Benromach and the Glasgow: Scotland with Style Clipper which participated in the Clipper 08-08 Round the World Yacht Race. This represents Liverpool at the 53rd line of latitude.

Nose

Sherried raisins, and dark peat. Whirls of smoke, bittersweet oak and marmalade. Very aromatic.

Palate

Thick, full-bodied. Sherried and oily. More marmalade, sugared peels, delightful bitter sweetness.

Finish

Sublime. Oranges, sugared peels with building smoke and spice.
