Benrinnes 21 Year Old 1992 (Special Release 2014)
Part of Diageo's 2014 Special Releases, this 21 year old Benrinnes single malt was distilled back in 1992 and matured in ex-bodega European oak casks. Bottled at 56.9% ABV with an outturn of 2,892 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Big, bold and ballsy. Peanuts dipped in a little Marmite, moving into literally all of the Eat Me Dates, Coco Pop cakes and a small book of struck matches.
Palate
The entry is just as big as the first whiff, with some darker, slightly burnt dried fruits now. Allspice and chocolate too, still fairly dense and savoury though.
Finish
Long, more of the same.
Overall
A fairly uncompromising Sherry beast.
