Single malt from Benrinnes, distilled in 2010 and matured in a single hogshead until it was bottled in 2023. Independently released by Berry Bros. & Rudd as part of its Small Batch collection.
Apples, pears, and buttery pastry join malted biscuits and fruit-studded tea cakes.
Buttered malt loaf and floral honey lead, with sweet shortbread, cooked apple, and vanilla cream.
Baked goods and sweet vanilla linger, joined by crushed almonds, hints of vegetal oak, and just a pinch of nutmeg.
