A Darkness indie bottling of Benrinnes single malt Scotch whisky, matured for 14 years and given a finish in specially-coopered Pedro Ximénez octave casks. Much smaller than your standard-sized cask, octaves allow for more interaction between the wood and whisky, making for a marvellous flavour profile packed full of sherried excellence.
Raspberry jam, very subtly meaty at points, with mocha in tow.
Chocolate buttons, roasted nuts, and lingering cinnamon.
Lasting sherried richness on the finish.
