Description
Independently bottled by Adelphi, this Benrinnes single malt was distilled in 2009 and spent 14 years maturing in a single cask. In 2023 the cask was opened, yielding a total of 248 cask strength bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Dried stone fruits and buttery malt biscuits, some red berry notes, and a crackle of pepper.
Palate
Poached orchard fruits, floral malt, chocolate, and oaken spice.
Finish
Toasted nuts, raisins, more berries, and a hint of vanilla, with some herbaceous warmth toward the end.
