A rich, hearty Benrinnes single malt from Murray McDavid, distilled in 2008 and matured for 14 years. It spent its final three years in a combination of tawny Port and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which were then married together when it was bottled in 2022. A limited 566 bottles were released for the Benchmark series at 50% ABV.
Almond butter, spiced apple crumble, and chai latte.
Chocolatey malt, plump dried fruit, cocoa, and buttery oak.
Dried cherry, runny honey, and a hint of red flowers.
