Single malt from the Benrinnes distillery, independently bottled up by Signatory! Distilled in 2008, this expression spent 13 years in a pair of bourbon barrels between September 2008 and February 2022.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Crumbly fudge, vanilla cream, toasted teacakes with melted butter and honey.

Palate Some zesty lemon balances sweet stone fruits, buttered crumpets lead to rich charred oak and whisps of cinnamon.

Finish Creamy malt with plenty of warming oak spice, gently oily with a delicate balance of pepper, caramel, and vanilla.

A solid sipper.
Quite light, floral and 'wine-ey' on the nose. Citrus tanginess, custard creams, some white pepper maybe on the palate. Slight astringency and prickliness on the finish. Not really my thing but pleasant, inoffensive and drinkable overall.
