A very striking bottle of cask strength Benrinnes right here. After it was distilled in 2006, as you may have guessed from the colour, the single malt spent its days in a first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead. At 13 years old, the Speysider was bottled by Adelphi in 2019, with an outturn of 257 bottles at 55.5% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Honey parfait, lots of chai spices and stewed orchard fruit. A touch of melted dark chocolate.

Palate Orange oil, pecan pie and blackberry jam, with bundles of dried fruit and festive spices.

Finish Chocolate returns on the finish alongside a wave of lasting sherry influence.
