A fantastic single malt from the Benrinnes Distillery, independently bottled by Càrn Mòr for its Strictly Limited range. Distilled in 2008, this was matured in first-fill hogsheads for 12 years, before bottling in 2021 with an outturn of 736 bottles.
Honeyed granola and seeded bread, vanilla custard tarts, toffee apple and toasted wood chips.
Nutty chocolate and soft fruit – melon, nectarine, and wafts of banana crossed with vanilla fudge and earthy, spicy oak.
Warm nutmeg and baking spices, sweet fruit cake with a buttery texture, and a nutty spice on the finish.
