12 year old single malt from the Benrinnes Distillery, independently bottled by The Single Cask! This whisky began life back in December 2008, and was given a finishing in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez octave before eventually being bottled in February 2021. Just 67 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Red berries and fried banana, with Demrara sugar and a smidge of salty oat cakes.
Palate
Peanut brittle, honeydew melon, fudge dotted with raisins, cassia.
Finish
Cookie dough, cinnamon, barley.
