Beautiful Benrinnes single malt, distilled in July 2008, after which it spent 12 years maturing in a single American oak hogshead until the folks at Auld Goonsy's Malt decided it was ready for bottling! The cask was opened in June 2021, with a total outturn of 272 bottles at a cask strength of 55.6% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Seedy toasted granary, charred banana, and sugared almonds.

Palate: Chocolate covered nutmeg biscuits, buttery vanilla, and juicy nectarine, with crisp lemon zest and a touch of vegetal oak.

Finish: Butterscotch, more nutmeg and cakey spice, oily toasted nuts, and a touch of herbal pepper spice.
