A very well-sherried Benrinnes here, bottled up by Adelphi! Distilled in 2009, it spent its 11 years of ageing in a single first-fill sherry hogshead, until Adelphi emptied the cask and released a limited 321 bottles at a generous 57.8% ABV. Lots of fruity sweetness to be found in this Speysider.

Nose
Tart orchard fruit and tobacco, with fig sweetness and berry coulis.
Palate
A suggestion of smoke alongside tart gooseberry and freshly baked bread.
Finish
Buttered rye bread and blackberry jam.
