Another fab bottling from James Eadie, this one was distilled over at Benrinnes. It spent the next decade in a trio of casks, including first fill bourbon and refill hogsheads. The Speysider was bottled 2019, with a release of 1,049 bottles at 46% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Stewed apple and vanilla custard, with herbaceous oak.
Palate
Honeyed stone fruit, with oaky vanilla, caramel and oily malt.
Finish
More vanilla lingers on the finish, supported by a touch of freshly cut grass.
