Excellent
Got as a gift. My standard is 15 year old glenfidich. Also, love glendronach 15 and Glenmorangie 12. This was a step above most of these. Maybe not as sweet tasting as Glenfidich but still lovely. It’s definitely ‘fire water’ and I’ll be buying again.

Very good, especially at this price, a good introduction to speyside malts easy to drink yet still a meaty dram
A very nice whiskey here, if you can’t stretch to a Motlach, then this is a good substitute

How much? Quality..
I cant bestow enough virtues in this mischievious dram. It lies quietly in my local whisky shop...... no noise....no spectacular head lights... A price that for me suggests not a dram with 15 years care and love...but my my.... it has palate...smoothness..... a nice nose and aome lingering undertones of sweetness with a little hint of smoke. A dram that sits well at numerous levels. A favourite thats punches quietly and smoothly with a knowing nod....way above its price.

A great, complex and very balanced Speysider. Love it
N.: Dried fruit (dates, figs) almond, marzipan, ripe brambles, later resin, conifers and soil. Evokes images of a sunny summer afternoon in the forest.
P.: In the beginning dry and oakey, but soon honey and cookie dough, bitter chocolate and Brazil nuts. Very full and harmonic mouth feel.
F.: Long, round and moreish.

An excellent purchase 👍👌
I found it very very pleasant whiskey.
A nice vanilla finish is more what I detected.

I love a malt with a toffee edge to it.
One of my favourite malts.

Very good
Nose is nicely complex. Toffee/caramel and herby.
Taste is wonderful, not too sweet and not too dry. Good depth. Some of the caramel, but subtle.
Quite a long finish which ends dry.

Very good at the price.

Old Fashioned but very good
Recently, I've been enjoying several of Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice whiskies - they are 46%, non-chillfiltred and natural colour. So, this Flora and Fauna 15 yo Benrinnes is a bit of a travel back in time - it's 43%, chillfiltered and had added colour. However, it is, nonetheless, a very fine dram. It has an attractive (if artificial) colour, the nose is heavy with sherry and toffee and the palate quite dry, perfumy and smoky. All in all, a whisky to savour.

Outstanding .. Not since I tasted Jamesons Gold in 2002 have i enjoyed such a whisky .. Within seconds it chased the chill out of both myself and the young blonde I had the good fortune to share with.
