From Benriach's 2020 relaunch of its cracking core range comes The Twelve, a 12-year-old Speyside single malt matured in a trio of casks - namely sherry casks, bourbon casks and Port casks! This maturation has imparted dried fruit notes galore, alongside wafts of good coffee and subtle spices. Very impressive indeed.

Not sold on this 1 . The addition of the port cask has for me spoiled what could have been a really good whisky . The 3 just dont work together for me . Of course taste is subjective , but I think this would have been much better without the port cask . gets 3 stars for being 46% non chill filtered and natural colour , but not 1 I'd buy again
Very richly flavored, butterscotch/syrupy sweetness without being too sugary. The flavor hits immediately and hard. Hints of orange peel or succade. A good dram for sipping. Good value for money.
