Part of the BenRiach single cask selection Batch 14, it’s non-chill filtered and of natural colour. It was distilled on 1st April 2008 using peated malt, and matured for 9 years. Only 280 bottles have been produced of the BenRiach 9 Year Old 2008 (cask 7880), which was bottled in June 2017.
Full aroma, orange breathes through notes of peat, with hints of almond and a woody tinge.
Slightly sickly as it's quite syrupy and lacks needed spice. Warming Oak muscles through and tempers well.
Long, oaky and touches of sweet peat. It fills out nicely.
