A wonderful juxtaposition of sweet and savoury deliciousness here from Benriach! This expression from the distillery's 15th batch of single cask bottlings was made from peated barley and matured in a Port pipe for nine years - from March 2000 to 2018. 858 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Campfire smoke and brandied cherries. A hint of cassia.
Palate
Heather honey, toasted barley and sherried orange peels.
Finish
Cola, raspberries, dark chocolate with red chilli flakes.
